Don’t throw it away, Alternatives for the Older Adult wants to help you save the earth – we’ll help you recycle what you’d otherwise be throwing away. Our programs focus on the collection and recycling of the inkjet and laser cartridge and cellular phones. All of these recyclable products are more of an environmental problem than most people realize.

An Inkjet printer can be found in almost every home in America that has a computer and that number is growing daily. The average consumer will use over 5 cartridges per year and over 80% of these people will throw them in the trash. Help us to raise money for our programs that serve older adults in ten counties of Western Illinois. Endowment Fund

The purpose of this fund is to receive and invest gifts, grants, and bequests of cash, securities, and property of all kinds for the benefit of Alternatives. A primary objective of the Endowment Fund is to provide a source of funding for future contingencies and for programs and services not fully funded by other revenue sources.
